Central Islip School District hosts My Brother’s Keeper Town Hall
The Central Islip School District hosted a My Brother’s Keeper Town Hall on October 22 at the Central Islip public library.
The purpose of the meeting is to inform the community about the district’s initiative to become a New York State MBK community, which is a prestigious recognition by the NYSED.
“This event is a platform for stakeholders to discuss key issues that are impacting our males of color and help to create a plan to address those issues,” Ms. Christina Guastella, grants and funded programs administrator for the district, said.
