Principal’s Message

Dr. Neema Coker - Morrow Elementary School Principal

Happy March A.T. Morrow!

“No kind action ever stops with itself. One kind action leads to another. Good example is followed. A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees. The greatest work that kindness does to others is that it makes them kind themselves.”  -Amelia Earhart

In recognition of Women’s History Month, during March students will learn about important women that have made a contribution to our society. Students will research and share information with the school community. Students will also work on various activities and projects throughout the month.

The second trimester will end on March 7, 2025. As we look ahead to the remaining months for the 2024-2025 school year, it is essential that all A.T. Morrow students continue to work diligently each day. Please ensure that your child completes their assignments on a consistent basis. Parent Teacher Conferences will occur on Friday, March 28, 2025. Note: You will be notified by the classroom Teacher if a conference is needed to discuss student progress. There will be an early dismissal for all students on this date (Walkers-approx. 12 noon). Bus students will dismiss a few minutes later. Please make the appropriate childcare arrangements. Reminder-Grades K-6 Report cards will be accessible through the Parent Portal (online) when available.

Outdoor Recess-As we begin the transition to additional outdoor recess days, please ensure that students are dressed appropriately for the weather. *Reminder-For safety reasons, students are not permitted to wear slippers at any time to school. *

Attendance Matters at A.T. Morrow please ensure that your child is in school dressed for success and ready to learn each day. It is extremely important that students are present-on time daily. New York State monitors student attendance and progress each year for all children. In partnership with all Morrow families, our goal is 100 percent attendance each day for all students.

Together with your support, all Morrow students will reach their full potential!
